ABOUT ME

hello there.

I am a South African filmmaker specialising in screenwriting and directing, although I have a penchant for digging my toes into various creative avenues.

I am a photographer by hobby, a graphic designer by passion, and a musical enthusiast by heart. Since entering the film industry in 2016, I have written ten short films, seven of which were directed by me and six of which have been premiered or showcased at various festivals worldwide. I currently live in Portugal, which is one of the countries I travelled to when I studied for my Master’s degree in the Kino Eyes European Film Masters.

I am currently developing two feature films titled “Firedamp” and “Foxblood”, as well as a limited series, all of which are continuing through development and will potentially receive funding for production in the future. But despite my fully-packed life, I’m always looking to work with others on new things.

I think it goes without saying that I am constantly learning what it means to be a creator in an ever-growing industry. My continued growth as a filmmaker comes from my aspiration to create works that excite people and shine a spotlight on the shadows that hide true human nature.
