Momentum is an Estonian dance film featuring brothers Markus Monak & Mark Monak and directed by Felix Cognard. When I was approached by the director to design the credits for the project, we both highlighted the importance in the names of the dancers and its correlation to the title of the film. More specifically, their names and surnames all start with “M”, while the title of the dance film starts and ends with the same letter.

Through designing the film’s title, I envisaged the two M’s in “Momentum” as larger than the rest of the word, which then became the final product you see above. The credits were all designed with a bold sans-serif typeface, which was utilised in static title cards for the end credits.
