Rua da Solidão (“Street of Loneliness”) is a Portuguese drama film written by Isabella Giordano and directed by Lou-Andréa Fière. The narrative of the film features a delivery man attempting to drop off a food package for a customer. In typically filmographic fashion, the production team decided to use a lightbox as the delivery man’s bag, which lit up in blue or red.

I incorporated this element of the narrative into the end credits, which feature static title cards in a bold sans-serif typeface. The primary crew of the film appear consequentially, with a lightbox sliding left and right to wipe away the previous crew member and reveal the next. I remember that it took quite some time to code this simple animation, only because the production team continually requested changes.
