BLUE NOISE
This film was very much an emotional and heartbreaking experience, not only because of the film’s content matter but also because of the conditions that unfolded in my life during the film’s creation.
This was the last production I worked on while living in South Africa and was the film that earned my status as valedictorian for my undergraduate degree. The narrative is an exploration of love, loss, and grief — which was a truly difficult story to write, much less deliver in an actual production format.
This film was the most intensive product I have ever created, having written, directed, produced, and acted in the film, all while completing my studies at university and juggling the effects of loss in my own life.
The poster follows the film’s central theme of the feather, a symbol of freedom and strength. It is combined with a brushstroke, which is also in alignment with the artistic occupation of the story’s protagonist.
