Tem Gente Que Fica is a Portuguese drama film written by Marijn Frijns and directed by Diego Migliorini. The story unfolds in a restaurant, where 4 friends have gathered for dinner and frivolity. But one of the friends is unable to put aside the fact that there is one who is missing, someone who has decided to leave the friend group and left a hole where they once were.

Designing the credits for this film was slightly different to that of other films. While much of the credits play as static title cards over a black screen, the beginning of the credits unfolds over the final shot of the film. Due to the perspective of the camera as compared to the building, I had to superimpose the text onto the image using a forced camera angle that would make the text blend into the shot.

For the typeface, I designed the credits as a mix of serif and sans-serif, using the former for the roles of each crew and cast member, and using the latter for their names. The final product is an elegant balance that suits the drama genre quite well.

Much like most of the other Portuguese films for which I have designed credits, this film employs both the Portuguese and English versions for each crew member’s role.
