When I moved to Europe near the end of 2020 to study my Master’s degree, the first stop was Lisbon, Portugal. During the first semester there, we were tasked with producing a few short films that would invariably form the foundation of our portfolio.

One of the films produced was Sink Away, which was my second endeavour at writing a story for the horror genre.

While I often prefer to design posters that use pictures taken from behind the scenes of a production, there are the occasional projects (like O Que Vemos) where the film’s visual style cannot be understated and is destined to be implemented into the poster. Sink Away was no exception.
